The POS terminals and the associated readers can be
connected to LAN with the help of Device Servers. This
solution if implemented with Smart Terminals, Scanner and
Printer can completely replace PC with all the accessory
products. Avoiding PC can improve the reliability of the
system, as there is no Hard Disk, Operating system,
possible Virus entry etc.
The POS terminal devices are required to connect LAN
