Moving Display systems, which are mounted and controlled
from PC now can be connected to LAN for updating from a
central PC. The major advantage is that each
 moving
display connected to the LAN can be independently
controlled and data sent to. This is different from the
fact that in earlier cases, single PC can control only
few displays and also that they might have to have same
data displayed if they are clubbed together.
In this
illustration,
Moving Display terminal is mounted on the front side of
the wall while Ethernet Adaptor on the back. Other side
of the Adaptor is connected to LAN. Now the server can
control the display terminal using control program
installed on it. Any number of Displays can be controlled
independently by a single PC.
