EAD 02 

The EAD connects serial devices to Ethernet network using the IP protocol. The EAD 02 connects peripherals through a transparent TCP data channel or a Telnet connection to computers or another EAD 02. Diagrams (protocol blocks) can be sent by UDP. The Network interface speed is 10-Mbit for Ethernet.

 

Connect the EAD to the serial devices through the respective serial connectors. It has got 2 ports on the serial side, one with 25-pin Female and the second with 9-pin Male connector.
