The Sparr Line powered Auto dialer is a micro-controller based Stand-alone Unit that interfaces the Fax machine to the FS&F (Fax Store and Forward) Server.

The Auto Dialer obviates the chore of dialing the Server number, dialing the User ID and Password and then dialing the destination number, every time a user wants to send a Fax through the FS&F service. The Auto Dialer unit is based on a PIC16F628 micro-controller. It has built in 2KB EPROM, 128 Byte RAM. The unit has a DTMF Transceiver and this is coupled to the incoming line with a standard DAA. Also it has 567 tone detector to detect tone from the server and serial EEPROM of 512 bytes to store programming parameters and action code

The Line Powered Auto dialer is connected to the FAX machine and Telephone line through the respective connectors.
